Embossed Butterflies and Stencils
A heat gun helps to fix embossing powder on stationary, place cards, even as a finish on furniture. These are simple and easy projects to create decorations and create your personalized style.
Step 1
Spray your stencil lightly with a repositionable spray adhesive.
Step 2
Place stencil on desired location of your surface.
Step 3
Sprinkle with a light dusting of embossing powder.
Step 4
Select Studio Precision Heat Gun. Apply heat to set and dry embossing powder for a raised and fixed design. Keep the heat gun 4-6 inches from the surface. Be sure to keep the moving back and forth to avoid burning the surface.
Step 5
Once dry remove stencil from surface.
Step 6
To create a decorative wreath, use a hot glue gun to glue the embossed papers to a ribbon-wrapped wire wreath to create your wall decoration.
